La spécialité gastronomique : La Pangée

This biscuit invented in June 2001 contains apricots, honey and almonds. This delicious sweetmeat is supposed to represent the earth’s original supercontinent, Pangaea, which formed around 250 million years
ago. How’s that for an original idea? Don’t complain if you buy one and find some of it missing, though. It’s meant to be like that, to represent the first fault that formed in Pangaea. And the apricot in the middle is meant to
symbolise Drôme, at the centre of the world. The locals are lovely people, but they do seem to think the whole world revolves around them!

Son originalité ? Ce gâteau vous sera toujours vendu avec une part manquante, représentant la faille initiale de la Pangée. L’abricot trônant au centre de cette gourmandise symboliserait, quant à lui, la Drôme comme cœur du monde. Chauvins ces drômois ? Pas le moins du monde !
