Day 1: arrive in the Drôme

New for 2020 - Valence: trip down the river Rhône

When you arrive, your group will have lunch in Valence.  Then you'll head for the Rhône, the river that crosses through the town, and on this leisurely, peaceful boat trip down the river, the secrets of the town will be revealed. This is a unique and very pleasant way to explore Valence and the surrounding area, from a different perspective. The dock will slowly disappear from view. Your group will head out towards the horizon. You'll put yourselves in the footsteps of a skipper, and admire the unique characteristics of this river, the surrounding landscapes and vineyards and you'll pass through a lock, to experience first hand this technical and ingenious contraption.
