Fresque de street art de Megan Oldhues - Wall & love

Megan Oldhues did us the honor of showing us the full range of her talent in the Châteauvert district, on two walls of the Mjc Chateauvert in Valence.

This talented young artist from Toronto has immersed herself in the environment, and in these two frescoes she has captured the atmosphere of a neighborhood where nature sets the pace for the lives of its inhabitants.
The two 10m-high murals evoke maternity, a relationship between mother and daughter in a relaxing environment that invites contemplation, nourished by a pictorial approach reminiscent of the work of the Impressionists.
The artist's judiciously chosen palette is perfectly suited to the site, making these two gigantic bookmarks freeze-frames of scenes from life in the neighborhood: a stroll along the canals, the MJC's multi-generational reception and sharing space.
