Fresque de street art de Sowan - Wall & love

Sowan's work focuses on the transition between the immaterial digital image he creates using specific software, and its physical and material transposition onto walls in the public space.

The monumental work, created with the help of artist JERC from the Sorry Graffiti collective, depicts a European Bee-eater (Merops Apiaster), an endemic species that can be observed in the Drôme region. A bird of passage, migrating from Africa, it sports a remarkable multicolored plumage, but prefers to adopt a discreet and fleeting behavior, making it difficult to observe and surprise. The European Bee-eater lives in groups, and Sowan has made it his totem animal that he likes to represent, firstly seduced by its slender graphic form and its colors, but also because he finds in it and in its behavior characteristics that could echo the identity of the graffiti artist.
